The Silicon Cape events are always interesting and the last one, entertaining. With FNB as the official sponsor, PayPal made their presentation to their would-be clients and gave away an iPad as incentive to create the growing community. PayPal has only recently made its way onto local shores and the process of setting up an account linked to an FNB is not as seamless as we hoped.

We will have to see how cost-effective the service is to SME’s. Only time will tell. As for me, I have linked my business account to PayPal, and successfully after two months of trying. Rather late than never.

Now for the cash to start rolling in .. anytime now, anytime .
